Find Wells Fargo and US Bank ATMs at the intersection of 22nd and Mission, and a Chase ATM at 21st and Mission.
Can I use EatSF Vouchers 4 Veggies?
EatSF (Vouchers 4 Veggies) Green and Purple Vouchers can now be used directly at the Mission Community Market to purchase fresh fruits and produce. Orange Vouchers are also currently being accepted for all items, including hot food. Visit us at the Info Booth if you have any questions.
I represent a local nonprofit. Can I table at the farmers market?
In stewardship of the Mission Community Market as a local community space, Foodwise welcomes mission-aligned local nonprofit organizations to share their work with our market community, free of charge. For more information, please contact us at info@foodwise.org.
I am a local musician. Can I play music at the farmers market?
We are excited to collaborate with Little Mission Studio, an independent music school in the Mission District, to curate local, diverse, and family-friendly musicians to perform on our market stage. If you are an interested musician, please complete Little Mission Studio’s Interested Musician Form.
Through our low-barrier, free public venue, MCM provides a critical opportunity for artists to gain exposure, develop talent, and secure future gigs through our marketing support. By showcasing musicians and performers, Mission Community Market provides a crosscultural space for community
What is the history of Mission Community Market?
Started as a grassroots neighborhood effort, the first Mission Community Market took place on Thursday, July 22, 2010. Foodwise took over operation of the farmers market on April 15, 2018. Learn more about the market’s history.

What is a California Certified Farmers Market?
Certified Farmers Markets are locations certified by the Agricultural Commissioner of the county in which they are held where only California Certified Producers sell agricultural products directly to consumers. All of the farmers who sell at our market are certified as producers by the counties where they grow. Each county requires the submission of a production list complete with crop types, number of acres, location, estimated harvest and harvest season. From this information, a Producer’s Certificate is issued. The County Agricultural Inspector visits the farm during production to confirm that the farmer is growing what they claim to be.
All products that are not produced on a farm or sold by a farmer are sold in a non-certified, adjunct portion of each market. These items include non-farmstead cheeses and preserves, breads, prepared foods, and some meats. Many of our artisans and purveyors buy ingredients from our farmers to create their products.
